সিংহ ভেড়া আর নেকড়ে

 একদা এক বনে এক নেকড়ে বাস করত। সে কোনােমতেই পশুরাজ সিংহের সঙ্গে এঁটে উঠতে পারত না। তবে বনের অন্যান্য দুর্বল প্রাণীদের ওপর প্রায়ই অত্যাচার চালাতাে। সেই নেকড়েটি একদিন বেড়ার পাল থেকে একটা বড়সড় ভেড়া ধরে মেরে নিয়ে যাচ্ছিল তার ডেরায়। হঠাৎ পথে পশুরাজ সিংহের মুখখামুখি হয়ে গেল। সিংহটি নেকড়ের কাছ থেকে ভেড়াটা ছিনিয়ে নিল। নেকড়ে তখন কিছু করতে না পেরে দূর থেকে বেশ চেঁচিয়ে বলল—আমার জিনিস এমনি করে কেড়ে নেবার তােমার অধিকার নেই। সিংহ ব্যঙ্গের হাসি হেসে বলল তােমার জিনিস? তা কোনাে বন্ধুর কাছ থেকে তুমি এটা উপহার পেয়েছাে নিশ্চয়ই, তাই না? এই না বলে, সিংহ নেকড়ের সামনেই ভেড়াটার সদ্গতি করতে লাগলাে।

উপদেশ - বাটপাররাই চোরকে দোষ দেয়।

Once upon a time, there lived a wolf in a forest. He could not compete with the lion, the king of beasts. However, he often tortured other weak animals in the forest. One day, that wolf was killing a big sheep from the fence and taking it to his tent. Suddenly, on the way, he came across the lion, the king of beasts. The lion snatched the sheep from the wolf. Unable to do anything, the wolf shouted from a distance, "You have no right to take my things like this." The lion smiled sarcastically and said, "Your things? You must have received this as a gift from a friend, right?" Without saying this, the lion started to treat the sheep well in front of the wolf.

Advice - It is the thieves who blame the thieves.
